Révéler l'invisible

Nothing else to say, sorry.

Everyone has his point of view and sets his own objectives.
This is something you learn in your early childhood. I always tried to break down, to deconstruct the world around me. Like a puzzle where parts can enter various spots as long as they go together well.
To try to recreate a bewitching, abundant and eternal Nature, this wild jungle I had as garden, and to observe it so that I can apprehend first. The will of sharing came after. As I child I felt I was the only one to adore my disgusting and wonderful little insects. Later, it seems I can maybe succeed in exhibiting the fantastic daemon who inhabits every blade of grass, every leaf... For a long time I feared one would not see what I had seen. But why couldn't I invite others to explore? Why not suggest something fixed that makes one's imagination fly away? Something fixed to be moved... Now and as always I take pictures for I am amazed by Beauty, and I want to share this. I don't think you can see what I see, but I give you what I saw, feel free to gaze at a devil or a spirit, to take things as they seem or to reflect them through human perspective... Feel free, just as those little insects sparing me some of their seconds.

What I like in macro photography as I perform it (not in an entomological meaning) is the Ephemereous: a softness allied to fleeting disappearance or a fearful aggression in unrealistic shades.
What I like is to abandon myself. To be true, I feel like my models are my masters and they alone decide to expose what they want and for how long. To abandon my gigantic body to meddle in a microworld, abandon my tempestuous breath to live at their rhythm. You cannot impose yourself in this world, you have to gain your entrance. To become invisible in spite of your size.
Artistic realisation must be spontaneous, not intellectual but emotional, isn't it the core meaning of reflex?

Born in a little town Southern France, she grew up surrounded by both artistic and natural environment. With an art gallery owner for mother who teaches history of art, a former graphic designer for father, and a brother sometimes plastic artist, that is the background that helped her develop a sharp sense of aesthetics...
She had decided even before her tenth birthday that she would become an entomologist (specialised in butterflies), thanks to all the wonders she discovered as she bred butterflies in her garden. Time passes and if this dream job fades away, the passion stands and grows to become a desire to picture.
Self-taught, she could apprehend things emotionally as she always have, thanks to the fast development of digital cameras and technologies that helped her build her technique. Her beginnings with photographic infatuation -in the years 2000s- are marked by the impression, the catch of a fleeting, ephemereous beauty more than the seeking of the perfect technique.
Her style lies in emotion, in the genuine moment, mysterious and violently smooth.
Taking pictures means taking time to discover, again and again, this so well-known world around you, so you'd think, as you pass by it every day.
It is a matter of pausing, pausing time, fixing movement to be moved. Not looking but rather finding beauty in what is familiar, common. To reveal what is unseen now, what doesn't catch your eye ; to lift the veal upon your gloomy daily life so that you can see its purity. Except that her daily life might be slightly different than yours.
